Major garden centre outsource their marketing to Fast Floor - 25 Jan 2010
One of the largest and most successful independent garden centres in Leicestershire have outsourced their entire marketing to Fast Floor recently.
Palmers Garden Centre, established since 1911, have committed to a 12 month programme of marketing & communication development following a strategic review undertaken by us during 2009.
Although the business has a loyal customer base, like many garden centres the business is heavily reliant on footfall throughout the year. We are leading a series of marketing initiatives and a re-positioning exercise to help ensure a greater market share, more proactive customer management and loyalty benefits and an enhancement to the range of initiatives offered to customers by the business as a whole.
The remit agreed within the Outsourced Marketing Model includes a complete re-brand and a fresh corporate identity framework, new signage, new print media, a new Content Managed Website, a bespoke web-based Customer Relationship Management System (for use within the retail environment), a new customer loyalty membership scheme with all associated deliverables and the introduction of other new initiatives designed to strengthen the interaction between customers and Palmers Garden Centre.
As with most Outsourced Marketing Models of this type, we are acting as their entire marketing department, being responsible for leading a programme of significant improvement and delivering specific projects to fulfill this. The programme is also enhanced by a series of quarterly reviews.
