EMDA choose Fast Floor to deliver business support seminars for London 2012 Olympics - 09 Dec 2010
The East Midlands Development Agency have chosen Fast Floor to deliver a series of key seminars to businesses, all of whom have been shortlisted for key Olympic contracts for London 2012.
Despite being often criticised as an organisation, EMDA's Olympic Business Support Team has achieved National success with several million pounds worth of contracts being awarded to East Midlands companies through a variety of their initiatives and support. Much of this also runs through CompeteFor, the national procurement website.
Despite this success, major East Midlands companies are being shortlisted, yet failing at the final selection hurdle. Fast Floor have been selected to advise over 150 businesses across Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire on their tender bids, presentations and business communication through a series of half day workshops and one-to-one 'clinics'. Director Paul Clarke comments;
"We are delighted to be recognised by EMDA as one of the foremost companies in the field of business communication in our region. The London 2012 Business Support Team at EMDA are proactive, passionate and most importantly are actually delivering results; something which EMDA perhaps should make more of a song and dance about. It is on this basis that we felt Fast Floor should take up the offer of supporting this work and at the same time, an opportunity to engage with numerous quality companies in our region, all of whom are well placed to win important Olympic contracts."
The programme of events is scheduled to run until March 2011 with early signs that it's success means this will be extended into the summer.
