The Only Way is Up - Fast Floor achieve record month for Gerflorstore
Gerflorstore - the vinyl flooring specialists based in France, launched their online store in April 2010. As well as building the extensive e-commerce application which underpins the site, Fast Floor have played a major role in putting together their complete online marketing strategy, helping drive traffic to the site and most importantly, developing and increasing their sales. Launching the business during the recession has made the project rather challenging and as Gerlfor were an unknown brand in the domestic market, it meant we needed to establish them amongst some pretty heavyweight competition including; Sainsbury’s Homebase, Amtico and B&Q. Thanks to a lot of time, effort, tears and sweat (cue the violins), we have however managed to achieve our highest sales month to date – with a 600% increase on turnover compared with May 2010.
